Arsenal will need to pay a British-record fee to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak this summer, according to Fichajes.
The Swede has been in sensational form for the Magpies this campaign and he has already bagged 19 goals and five assists.
His form has spread speculation that Arsenal could make a serious effort to land his signature during the next transfer window.
The Gunners desperately need a marquee forward to lead the line and could be prepared to break the bank for Isak’s services.
Fichajes now claim that the London giants will need to offer £125 million on the table to persuade the Magpies into a transfer.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners will pay such a huge fee, considering they need to bolster other departments too.
The club are also weighing up bids for a defensive midfielder and versatile winger. If Isak is deemed expensive, Benjamin Sesko could be signed.
Sesko could be available for around £70-80m from RB Leipzig.
