Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has provided a big injury update on Amad Diallo after a 1-0 Premier League loss at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Red Devils have been poor in the top-flight this campaign and they suffered their 12th loss of the season against Spurs on the road on Sunday.
Amad Diallo was absent for the game with an ankle ligament injury, and Amorim has confirmed that he won’t return for the remainder of the campaign.
He said: “Amad is out for the rest of the season. He did a tackle, and his feet stuck in the grass.”
Aside from Diallo, the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer picked up injuries in the lead up to the game.
United face Everton on the road in their next league encounter. It could be another tough challenge amid their poor league form.
Mainoo is set to be sidelined for the next two or three weeks at least, but Ugarte and Collyer could return to action later this month.
