Portuguese wonderkid Geovany Quenda is very keen on joining Manchester United during the summer transfer window, according to Givemesport.
The 17-year-old made his first-team debut at Sporting CP under manager Ruben Amorim and could be set for a reunion this summer.
GMS claim that talks are ongoing between United and Sporting CP for the teenager. The Red Devils want a pre-agreed deal to avoid competition.
Sporting CP have set a price tag of €60 million for the versatile youngster, but United seem reluctant to pay more than €40m at the moment.
Talks are expected to continue between the clubs and a middle ground could be reached over the coming weeks with Quenda keen on the move.
Quenda is also on the radar of Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, but a reunion with Amorim seems his priority at the moment.
United are growingly optimistic of sealing a deal for the teenager, considering their good working relationship with Sporting CP.
