Manchester United could replace Ruben Amorim with Brentford manager Thomas Frank if the results don’t improve in the coming weeks.
The Red Devils have been in a poor run of form in the Premier League and they are presently 15th in the standings with just 29 points on the table.
Amorim has the full backing from the hierarchy, but he could be dismissed from the helm in the coming games if results don’t improve.
United have suffered eight losses in the last 12 league games. If they were to continue their losing trend, Amorim could be axed from the helm soon.
The board have identified Frank as a suitable successor, as per Fichajes.
The Bees head coach has been linked with the United job for some period of time, but it is unclear whether he would leave his club mid-season.
United may have to wait until the end of the season to recruit him if Amorim were to be dismissed from his managerial role.
