Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has his sights on staying with the Red Devils for the remainder of his contract.
The Brazil international joined the club from Real Madrid three years ago, but his performances have not been up to the mark.
Casemiro has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League for some time, but as things stand, he is not close to leaving the club.
In an interview with AS, Casemiro has said that he is very grateful to the Red Devils and would like to fulfil his deal expiring in June 2026.
He said: “Above all, I respect United, a club to which I’m very grateful. I have a year and a half left on my contract and I’d like to fulfil it here in Manchester.”
Casemiro made his first start of the year against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday. He was disappointing and lost possession 12 times.
The midfielder was dribbled past on four occasions and won just 43 percent of his tackles. He was one of the worst performers in the 1-0 loss.
