Manchester United attacker Amad Diallo is expected to undergo an ankle surgery for a ligament injury next week, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Ivory Coast international has been United’s best player in the final third this term. He has registered nine goals and seven assists in all competitions.
However, he won’t be involved for the rest of the campaign after picking up an ankle ligament injury in training earlier last week.
He has picked up a significant concern and Romano reports that the Atalanta graduate will undergo surgery before the end of the month.
Alongside Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer also picked up injuries in the lead-up to the Tottenham game.
Ugarte and Collyer are poised to return to training soon, but Mainoo is poised to be sidelined for the next two to three weeks at least.
United will be in Premier League action against Everton on the road this weekend. It could be another tough outing for the club.
