Barcelona could revive their interest in signing Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford at the end of the campaign, as per Fichajes.
The England international was a top target for the Blaugrana this winter, but they could not afford to land his services due to FFP issues.
However, they will have financial room at the end of the season and reports claim that the Catalan giants could return for the United graduate.
A transfer could still depend on Villa’s final decision on Rashford.
The Midlands outfit finalised a loan deal for Rashford with an option to buy for £40m. His future will be decided when the season ends.
If Villa were to pass the opportunity, it could open the door for Barcelona to revive their pursuit of the long-term target this summer.
Barcelona are unlikely to sign a new striker for next season. They are prioritising an experienced left-sided winger instead.
Liverpool‘s Luis Diaz is another player on their radar.
