Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Reece James is fully fit ahead of the Premier League clash at Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow.
The England international recently missed the FA Cup fourth round loss at Brighton. He was given a breather due to his recent injury record.
The Blues will return to the Amex Stadium on Friday night and ahead of the game, Maresca confirmed that the club captain is available for selection.
He said: “Reece is okay. Against Brighton in the cup, it was planned to give him a rest. He had some rest in the last days but he is available.”
James is likely to replace Malo Gusto in the right-back role. He will be aiming to help the Blues to secure another crucial league victory.
Chelsea are currently fourth in the league standings and need to build a winning run to stay within the Champions League positions.
While James is fit to play, the likes of Romeo Lavia, Marc Guiu and Nicolas Jackson have been ruled out of the league encounter.
