Chelsea could make four high-profile signings when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
The Blues have been in poor form over the last few months, and they have picked up just nine points from the last nine league games.
As a result, they have dropped to sixth in the league standings and face a challenge on their hands to qualify for the Champions League.
Regardless of how the campaign ends, the Blues are expected to go on another spending spree during the summer transfer window.
They are planning to make four key signings as per Fichajes. A new striker, midfielder, centre-back and goalkeeper will be prioritised.
The arrivals are expected to coincide with exits. The likes of Robert Sanchez, Axel Disasi, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Christopher Nkunku are expected to be offloaded.
Chelsea are unlikely to contemplate a change of manager even if they don’t qualify for Champions League football under Maresca this term.
