Napoli have emerged as potential candidates to land Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer, according to talkSPORT.
The Denmark international joined the Red Devils with a huge reputation from Atalanta. He was described as the new Erling Braut Haaland.
He had a decent debut season with 16 goals to his name, but has struggled in his second year with just seven goals from 33 appearances.
This has spread speculation regarding his future and talkSPORT claim that United could cut their losses on him during the next transfer window.
Napoli are eyeing a new striker to compete with Romelu Lukaku. They are prepared to sign Hojlund based on his previous success at Atalanta.
Hojlund could be tempted to return to Serie A too, having struggled to cope with the higher intensity and physicality of the Premier League.
The Red Devils have their sights on signing someone more experienced. Viktor Gyokeres or Dusan Vlahovic could be considered to fill the void.
