Manchester United could make a surprise move for Flamengo right-back Wesley in the summer, according to Fichajes.
The Red Devils are aiming to strengthen the right wing-back department for next season. They are already in advanced talks to land Sporting CP wonderkid Geovany Quenda.
It is now claimed that the club are also interested in the services of Wesley, who has made over 100 appearances for Flamengo since his arrival in 2021.
The Brazilian has no experience from the wing-back position, but United scouts have been impressed by his progress at the South American giants.
It will be interesting to see whether the club formalise their interest. Flamengo are likely to demand around €25 million to part ways with Wesley.
The young full-back has also been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the past. United should have an edge over Wolves if they were to make a move.
Aside from the right wing-back department, United are also expected to bolster the squad with a new striker and defensive midfielder this summer.
