Manchester United’s newest acquisition Patrick Dorgu could make his debut against Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night.
Ahead of his maiden appearance, The Athletic have revealed that the left-back is one of the lowest earners at Old Trafford at £40,000 per week.
Only Altay Bayindir, Kobbie Mainoo and Toby Collyer earn less than him. Talks are already ongoing with Mainoo and Collyer over new deals.
Dorgu already has experience of playing as a left wing-back from his time at Lecce and he is expected to feature from a similar role for United.
The Dane also has the potential to play from the right wing, but it is unlikely that manager Ruben Amorim will use him in an attacking capacity.
United have had a dreadful league campaign and they suffered their 11th defeat of the season against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Amorim will expect a much better showing against the Foxes this week.
